The Hotak dynasty

The Hotaki sept of the Ghilzai, as Royal Ark gives it from a forefather whose name it does not have: Mirwais Hotak, who made Kandahar independent of Persia in 1709, and his son Mahmud and nephew Ashraf, who took Isfahan and ruled Persia from 1722 to 1729.
