Social and Political Structure
The Tareen tribal identities are divided into three major clans based on the sons of Ni'mat Allah al-Harawi.[1][6] These sons are identified as Tor, Spin (Aspin or Speen), and Awdal (Born Tareen/Abdali).[1][6] Modern descendants adopt these names as tribal identities: Tor Tareen, Spin Tareen, and Bor Tareen.[1] These three major clans are further subdivided into smaller units.[1]
